Who is Jesus?
Christianity stands or falls on the identity, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The New Testament presents Jesus not merely as a moral teacher or prophet, but as the Son of God and the promised Christ. Christians confess Him as truly God and truly man.
He welcomed sinners, confronted hypocrisy, showed compassion to the suffering, taught with authority, forgave sins, willingly went to the cross and rose again.
Why the cross?
The cross reveals both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God's love. Jesus gave Himself for sinners. Christians do not believe we rescue ourselves; our hope rests in Christ.
Why the resurrection?
The resurrection is essential to Christian faith. Jesus' followers proclaimed that the One who was crucified had risen from the dead. Christian hope is therefore rooted in a living Saviour, not simply the memory of a dead teacher.
What does Jesus ask of us?
Jesus calls people to repent, believe, follow Him, love God and love others. Following Him involves trust, obedience and dependence on grace.
